Advertising pays the bills. Curiosity does the rest.

Whether I'm art directing a campaign, painting a landscape, out shooting with my camera, or sketching ideas in the margins of a notebook, I'm happiest when I'm making something thoughtful with my hands.

I believe the best creative work comes from paying attention—to people, places, stories, and the little details most of us walk past.

This is where they end up.

Curiosity   has always been my favorite medium.

How I Spend My Time

Some ideas become paintings. Others become photographs, brands, murals, journals, or little experiments that never leave the sketchbook. The medium usually finds the idea, not the other way around.
There's always another rabbit hole worth following. Color theory. Hospitality. Printmaking. Film photography. Typography. Gardening. The best ideas usually come from somewhere unexpected.
Good ideas rarely arrive fully formed. They usually start as photographs, receipts, maps, pressed flowers, conversations, or something scribbled in the margin of a notebook.
Creativity isn't something to protect, it's something to pass along. Whether it's mentoring a team or sharing what I've learned, the best ideas tend to get better when they're shared.
Every trip changes the next project. Sometimes it comes home as a photograph. Sometimes a painting. Sometimes it's a new way of seeing home.
Most people walk past the good stuff. A handwritten menu. Morning light. Wildflowers growing through concrete. Those little details have a habit of becoming the next big idea.
